The Giulietta Sprint turns 70

On 21 April 1954, at the Turin Motor Show, something extraordinary happened: the legendary Giulietta Sprint made its official debut, marking a pivotal moment in the history of Alfa Romeo. With around 2,000 orders received in just a few days, it became immediately clear that the car was destined to be an unprecedented commercial success. Italy had a new sweetheart.

70 years later, Alfa Romeo has decided to celebrate the anniversary of the Giulietta Sprint in a unique way. While Centro Stile has designed a special logo that pays homage to this iconic model, the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo in Arese has organized a series of events for the first weekend of June, including parades, lectures, exhibitions, and the special 70th Anniversary Tour. Arranged by the Registro Italiano Alfa Romeo, this three-day road trip will see a convoy of 70 Giuliettas travelling from Lake Garda to Arese, with a stop in Verona to visit Juliet’s house and relive one of the most romantic stories of love and passion ever told.

Happy birthday, Italy’s Sweetheart!
